Personal Principles

To better understand our corporate principles and philosophy, it may help to understand my own personal principles. They are built on three essential components: my personal faith, my family and my desire to teach, train and positively impact the lives of others.

Faith: My life is built around my faith in God. It is the cornerstone of my beliefs, actions and decisions. In 1994 I made a personal decision to dedicate my life and place my complete faith in God. That decision, the single most important decision I have ever made, has allowed me to find clarity of purpose and true meaning in daily life. As a result of my faith, everything I teach is ultimately based on Biblical Truth. This is also my guiding influence in my interactions with my clients and their employees. It is simply the way I choose to run my company. My hope is that in following these Truths in my every day business interactions, whether speaking to a group, meeting with a client, or sitting at lunch with a group of individuals, I can influence people in a positive, motivating, and life-impacting way. Family: My wife Laurel, and my four children Brock (15), Jake (13), Beau (12) and Jessica (9), are the loves of my life. As important as my work is, it will never supercede the importance of my family. Nothing I can ever achieve professionally matters without them. Their influence is apparent in all aspects of my work, and is the primary reason I am so dedicated to helping others live a complete and balanced life built on not just professional, but personal success. I have a great appreciation for the opportunities that the mortgage industry has provided for me and my family. As a result, I have a great desire to help others achieve success at work without compromising the people they love at home.

Others: In the New Testament Jesus Christ is quoted in the book of Matthew (Chapter 22 Verse 39) as saying: "Love your neighbor as yourself." This is the second greatest commandment and one I take very seriously. As a result, my desire to help others is a fundamental priority in my life and in my business. I consider it an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. Therefore, I take the trust that my clients show me by hiring me to work with their employees as a personal challenge to help them be the best they can possibly be in every aspect of their professional life. In doing so, the result will be a fully enriched life that impacts them personally, the company they represent, the customers they come in contact with and the people they care for and come in contact with in their own personal lives.
